  • At YB_Finatic, we prioritize the health and safety of our aquatic life and strive to ensure that all shipments arrive in optimal condition. However, in the rare event that a fish arrives deceased, we have established the following policy to address such occurrences:

    Live Arrival Guarantee

    • Shipping Method: We offer a live arrival guarantee exclusively for shipments sent via UPS Next Day Air or FedEx Priority Overnight.

    • Delivery Timeframe: The guarantee applies to orders delivered within the specified timeframe of the chosen shipping method.

    • Shipping Charges: Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    To process a DOA claim, please adhere to the following steps:

    • Timeframe: Report the incident within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt, as per the carrier's tracking information.

    • Documentation: Provide clear, high-resolution photographs or videos of the deceased fish inside the unopened shipping bag.

    • Contact Information: Include your full name, order number, and contact details in your communication.

    • Submission: Send the required document to contacts

    Upon verification of the DOA claim:

    • Refund: A refund for the cost of the deceased fish will be issued to your original payment method.

    • Replacement: A replacement fish will be shipped at no additional cost, subject to availability and additional shipping charges.

    • Store Credit: Alternatively, a store credit for the value of the deceased fish can be provided.

    Please note that shipping costs are not refundable, and replacements are subject to stock availability.

    ⚠️Policy Limitations

    Our DOA policy does not cover:

    • Fish that have been introduced into the aquarium environment.

    • Issues arising from improper acclimation or handling post-arrival.

    • Delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or other external factors beyond our control.

    • Fish purchased during promotional events or sales, unless explicitly stated.

    To ensure the best possible outcome for your aquatic life:

    • Availability: Be present to receive the shipment on the scheduled delivery day.

    • Inspection: Inspect the fish immediately upon arrival.

    • Acclimation: Follow proper acclimation procedures before introducing the fish into your aquarium.

    • Temperature Monitoring: Monitor the temperature during transit, especially during extreme weather conditions.

  • Orders that have been placed but not shipped can still qualify to issue for a refunded to your original payment. A 30% restocking fee will be applied to all refunds.

    If your order has been placed and shipped, there will be no refund.

  • Dealing with livestock always carries risks, especially when shipping aquatic livestock. At Yb_Finatic we try our best to guarantee a successful order.

    Although we try our best to provide a successful order, sometimes unforeseen accidents can happen. If your fish arrives DOA, (see, DOA POLICY)

    If your order is missing during shipping, that is out of our control, and you would have to file a claim with shipping carrier chosen at checkout for order.

    We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or other external factors beyond our control.

    All orders are provided with a tracking code. We will also try our best to help recover the order and file a claim but there is no guarantee anything can be done when shipped.
